Butterfly Rain is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and community-based nonprofit in rural northeastern Oklahoma, where high rates of poverty, substance abuse, domestic violence, and generational adversity create persistent barriers to stability. We are committed to transforming lives by promoting self-reliance through innovative, accessible programming tailored to the needs of our region. Recognizing agriculture as a central industry in our area, we develop and deliver workforce initiatives that provide hands-on training in essential agricultural and rural trades, skills not traditionally offered by local schools or supported by financial aid. Our services include vocational courses in areas such as horseshoeing, artificial insemination, beekeeping, and much more. We also provide wraparound support, including mentoring, transportation assistance, and community outreach to ensure participants can fully engage and succeed. By equipping youth and adults with marketable skills and a pathway to self-sufficiency, Butterfly Rain fosters stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter future for our rural region.
